1. Install a WordPress Plugin Using Search From Your WordPress Dashboard
One of the easiest ways to Install WordPress plugins and run fast is to Use The Plugin Search from your WordPress dashboard.
In your first step you have to go to the WordPress Admin panel and click on the “Plugins >> Add New”. Then find the plugin by typing the plugin name or the functionality you want to install in the Search area.
After that, you can see a bunch of plugins. From there you can pick the plugin which is best for you. Then you have to click the “Install Now” button next to it.
After installing the WordPress Plugin you will notice the Activate button. Now click on “Activate Button” to start using that plugin on your Website.
That’s all! Your Plugin is now installed, activated, and ready to use.
2. Manually installing a WordPress Plugin via FTP
The FTP manager method is the least friendly way for beginners.
In this method, you will need to download the plugin’s source file. It will be in the zip file. Then you need to extract the zip file on your computer. After extracting you will find a file with the same name which you need to manually upload to your website with a FTP service (FileZilla). Then you would need to access your host through the FTP manager. Now open the FTP service and connect to your website. Upload the extracted folder to /wp-content/plugins/ folder on your website.
Now go to the admin area and click on the “Plugins” link in the admin menu. After installation, you need to click on the “Activate” button to start using it.
Immediately after activation, you may need to configure Plugin settings.
3. Installing Plugin Via WordPress Admin Plugin Upload
To install paid WordPress plugins we need to go with the Upload method.
First, you have to download the Plugin which is in the zip file from the source. Now, go to the WordPress admin area and visit the “Plugins >> Add New” page and click on the “Upload Plugin” button. Then go to the “Choose File” button and select the downloaded Plugin (Zipped file) from your computer. And now click on the “Install Now “button.
After the installation is finished, you need to click on the “Activate Plugin “button to start using.
